Like the four cardinal directions, there are four cardinal tribes in the Wolf's Long Tail. In the very end of the mountain-enclosed valley are the two forces which like oil and water can never exist together. The Rebels in the Outlands, and the Ransangh in their conquered border are always fighting. Only the illusion of safety exists here, where the wild have never been tamed, and the leader of the pack is a very, very white wolf who submits only to his mate, the moon.
weather: Winter is nearly past, snow has given way to rain everywhere but the high mountain peaks of the Ribeyako territory. A massive thunder storm is making its way across the valley, and the Kitchi tribe's many rivers are swelling and flooding.
offspring: Some may be born, but this would be very bad timing, and it is unlikely the pups would live through the remainder of the winter.
mating: All creatures can mate during this season.
Paradise When a wolf dies, it has only one place to go . . . paradise. Sinners are forced to remain on earth until they have repented, and then they may enter paradise.
Highest Branches The deities hold council here, in the sky above the firefly tree's highest branches. They cannot be seen or heard by any wolf, obviously. The ground is soft and grassy, and the sky seems always to be in flux between night and day. Moderators: [kiyos_box], Rhino, kiri, [d]ormouse.

Kokou-zu place Deities come here, to this land that is nowhere, to meet each other. It can be used for anything, it can look like anything. The appearance changes everyday. Yesterday it was a deep cave, the day before it was the bank of a very blue river.
All deities are able to come here. But here, unlike in the Firefly Tree's Branches, they are allowed to approach one another with moods other than benevolence.
Quarters The Tribe's Quarters are caves, carved out of the mountain by the river. To reach the caves wolves either fly across the river and through a waterfall, or swim through the river. Kitchi wolves sleep and shelter here. Moderators: [kiyos_box], Rhino, kiri, [d]ormouse.

Tribe Territory This is the rest of the Kitchi lands. It's mostly wetlands, honeycombed with thin streams and swarming with wildlife. Sometimes it floods, and when it does it's important to not be cauht here. xD; Moderator: [kiyos_box]
The Roosting Mountain This mountain is used by the Ribeyako wolves for housing and shelter. The holes and caves have been here for as long as anyone can remember; no one knows how they got there. It's only accessible to winged wolves, for the caves are located hundreds of feet up the sleek vertical rock. Moderators: [kiyos_box], Rhino, kiri, [d]ormouse.

Ribeyako Territory Consisting of 7 mountains (Setsui, Gui, Cest, Ruya, Cher, Uriel, and Siai.) the Ribeyako territory is largely barren. The wolves collect and store birds, eggs, goats, rabbits, and other lean animals. Ribeyako wolves learn to fly on Uriel mt. Moderators: [kiyos_box], Rhino, kiri, [d]ormouse.

Expulsion Pass Wings are a requirement for the wolves of Ribeyako. When a puppy does not have them, they are exiled and left on the mountain pass, which is the only path from the mountains to level ground. The exiled's only choice is to leave. Moderators: [kiyos_box], Rhino, kiri, [d]ormouse.
Shu Headquarters The Shu headquarters are located underground; the main entrance is hidden underneath a mat of grass at all times. It's constantly being added to, and stretches over a wide distance. Moderators: [kiyos_box], Rhino, kiri, [d]ormouse.
Hydra Forest A large forest that encompasses all of the Shu lands and then some. Deer are hunted here, the water source is a lake that is watered by streams from the Kitchi lands. Moderators: [kiyos_box], Rhino, kiri, [d]ormouse.

The Graveyard All Shu members are buried here, where they believe they can talk to their ancestors. It's an eerie place, covered with moss and stone markers. Moderators: [kiyos_box], Rhino, kiri, [d]ormouse.
The Den The unwanted and the evil live here. An unhappy, rotting place, the Den is dangerous and horrible. It's located underground, beneath the roots of a massive, dead tree on the edge of Hydra Forest. It was originally dug by the Shu wolves, but commandeered for headquarters by the Ransangh. The Village The Village enjoys a thriving slave trade and excess of criminal activity, mainly around Pong-Hu, to which it is connected. Slave traders and Pimps make this place their home, for the Village is a stone labyrinth left behind by humans. Moderators: [kiyos_box], Rhino, kiri, [d]ormouse.

The Outlands
The Ruins Humans used to live in this place, and they left in their wake ruins of small stone buildings and wells. A town laid waste is an ugly, but interesting place. It's also the poaching grounds for Slave traders, so explorers are always at risk of kidnap or worse. Moderators: [kiyos_box], Rhino, kiri, [d]ormouse.
Rebels HQ is located south of the ruins. Their HQ is makeshift at best description, located within a mess of brambles and berry bushes. They have several patches of this cleared out, which is where they sleep and shelter. Their conditions are hard at the best though, for the brambles keep out neither rain not cold and scratch viciously. Moderators: [kiyos_box], Rhino, kiri, [d]ormouse.

Firefly Tree was created blooming and pulsing with life; green and bountiful. The tree in its center was monstrous and alive, cradling the moon in its branches. But gradually this place began to wither. The moon was torn away to commit to Earth, and the Firefly Tree was left without its sun. The tree began to die, the trunk withering away. The grasses died and the flowers faded. But legend says that someday the Firefly Tree will bloom again, the island of light will burst into beauty. The grasses will glow with life, flowers will once more open and bloom and the tree will be hued silver-white. That the tunnel within it will glow again, fireflies lighting it to the cave deep below the surface, in the heart of the world. And what was in the cave? The gateway to heaven. It's also been said that at the very bottom, in the chamber where the water is in the stone that wolves can be retrieved from beyond death. It's considered the greatest sin and the unforgivable act. Lunar Hill is stone, with stone steps etched into it from the constant, age-old practice of climbing the hill. The top is long in an oval shape and has several small, beautiful maple trees growing on the top. They extend over the water on one side. The water itself is collected from the rain but remains clean and lucid. It is said that when the first leaves of the maples fall into the water, the gods will grant three wishes. Moderators: [kiyos_box], Rhino, kiri, [d]ormouse.
Renka Pool there's a channel that runs from the edge of the lunar pool atop the hill into a slightly larger, crescent-shaped pond at the hill's bottom. This pond has fish in it, which are large and beautiful. (koi) They represent the moon and the sky, which are the most important things in mythology to the wolves.
